"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is pleased to announce the design team for the upcoming Nashville Build which will begin on September 11. Well-known designers Ty Pennington, Paul DiMeo and Tracy Hutson will be joined this season by Leigh Anne Tuohy, interior designer and subject of the nationally acclaimed movie "The Blind Side." When The Blind Side hit theaters last fall, the movie instantly gave inspiration to lots of people and thrust Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy into a spotlight they had never been in before.

The Tuohys reached out to young Michael Oher and gave him a home and helped him out when no one else would, and now he's a talented young offensive lineman for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. Also attending the Nashville Rising event wearing Gypsy Soule was Collins Tuohy, subject of The Blind Side. The 2009 American drama–sports film, The Blind Side, was directed and written by John L. Hancock. The movie is based on the 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game by Michael Lewis. The storyline features Michael Oher, an offensive lineman who plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. Collins is his adoptive sister. The Blind Side was nominated for Best Motion Picture by the Academy Awards and has received numerous accolades by leading actress Sandra Bullock, for her role as Collins' mother Leigh Anne Tuohy.

Her 'Turn Around' changed many lives

The couple whose story inspired the best-selling book and hit movie "The Blind Side" made it clear this week that changing a young person's life is more than blind luck.

"Michael was sent to us," Sean Tuohy said at an Omaha-areaevent. "We just weren't stupid enough to turn our backs."

"He was so close to falling through the cracks," added Leigh Anne Tuohy. "I don't sleep at night whenI think about it."
