Making It Happen Foundation worked together with Evans Elementary to enforce an incentive program. supported a Title 1 school that went from the bottom 25% of all schools in the county to the top 5% overall by enforcing a semester long incentive program focused on behavior, attendance, and academics. The school also received a Christmas party, library makeover, and encouragement throughout the year.

“Title I” is the federal program that provides funding to local school districts to improve the academic achievement of disadvantaged students. It is currently known as the No Child Left Behind Act.
