We celebrated Kindness and Love on Valentine’s Day at Evans Elementary with a Kindness Store! The students earned “kindness cash” leading up to February 14th, then on that day they could “shop” for gifts. Many bought for their mom, dad, grandparent, sibling, aunt, teacher, friend or even a little something for themselves! So many topics are addressed surrounding this event – behavior, giving, earning, math etc. Valentine’s Day is more about kindness and love than romance and kisses!
